Why work for Home Credit?

Home Credit’s success story is a direct result of the talent and enthusiasm of the people who work for us.

Stimulating corporate culture

We are committed to providing all of our employees with the foundation that they need to grow within Home Credit and the chance to fulfil their specific career needs. We expect dedication and hard work, but at the same time will provide a creative and dynamic working environment and a corporate culture that fosters an atmosphere of congeniality and progression.

Home Credit is known for its open and informal communication culture; a balanced mix of team, individual and project work; healthy respect for the diverse experience and variety of opinions of employees; roles and management system with clearly defined responsibilities and powers; and a receptive environment where employees can shape their future and contribute to the development of our company.

Progressive education and development

Home Credit fosters its employees’ professional and career development and offers a series of excellent training programmes. We provide equal opportunities for growth to all of our employees. When joining the company, each employee undergoes a valuable period of induction training to welcome you as a new member of the team, familiarise you with our company, our values and strategic goals, and equip you with everything you need for a successful start to your new career.

We listen to our employees and appreciate your feedback and seek to offer you every opportunity to thrive and develop within Home Credit.

HC NET talent programme

For committed and motivated Masters’ degree students in the Czech Republic, we have HC NET – a talent programme which offers those who are interested in working in one of the countries where we operate the chance to gain key skills at our Czech offices while they are completing their final year of studies. Over their year-long “internship” at Home Credit, students work with us, taking part in a tailor-made programme with their own individual mentor and help from our colleagues – learning about everything from accounting to risk management and customer relations.

Odyssey Senior
A Personal Development Programme which builds and expands Home Credit Group’s Global Talent Pool

The Odyssey Senior Programme is an intense curriculum of Learning Journeys. Odyssey Senior is about empirical learning, not just another type of business school style training. The programme is about asking questions and, in particular, about identifying the right questions to ask.

While most specialised education and technical organisational cultures encourage managers to concentrate on the answers they know or that they need to know, Odyssey Senior aspires to rank amongst very few of those which emphasise the importance of questioning. Yet the context of uncertainty and change that faces us means that it is fundamental for people and businesses to be good at questioning: at understanding why we think what we think and why we make the assumptions that we make.

Participants from Home Credit Group’s countries work in international project teams throughout the program to develop innovative ideas relevant to the Group’s business that will be proposed to Group Top Management Team for approval and implementation.

Odyssey Senior consists of five modules; each of them brings external and internal speakers, facilitated debriefings and informal moments for discussion and sharing over lunches and dinners.

Each annual curriculum involves a group of 20 participants.

Good performance is wholly recognised and achievement of professional goals and objectives is rewarded. Remuneration packages are based on the performance of both the individual employee and the company through a fixed and performance-related element.
