AO Home Credit Bank

AO Home Credit Bank is ono of the consumer finance market leaders in Central Asia.

In September 2008, Home Credit B.V. acquired a minority stake in a local bank in Kazakhstan - AO International Bank Alma-Ata. The remaining majority stake was acquired by Jiří Šmejc, an individual minority shareholder of PPF Group N.V., which is the parent company of Home Credit B.V.

In November 2008, the AO International Bank Alma-Ata changed its business name ''Home Credit Bank JSC'', substantially raised its capital and adopted a new development strategy based on close commercial cooperation between the two shareholders. All business operations of Home Credit Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of Home Credit B.V.) were transfered to Home Credit Bank JSC, which has also implemented the Home Credit sales model.

At the moment Home Credit Bank JSC, in which HCBV owns share of 9.99%, offers to clients in Kazakhstan a comprehensive range of consumer lending and deposit products and is active in all major cities across the country through its partners' networks (POS), the Kazakh Post offices and through bank's own branches.
